Bird Name: Indian Robin
Description: These birds can be found in urban garden areas as well as forested habitats often seen running along the ground or perching on low thorny shrubs and rocks. The Males have a brown back with a black underbody and a white shoulder patch or stripe. They have chestnut undertail coverts which are visible when the birds sits with it's tail upright. The females are dull brownish or greyish with a pale vent compared to the males. They feed mostly on insects or smaller seeds.
